Late night parking lot talks with Jesus.

So I posted this on my Facebook page yesterday and thought I would share with all of you who haven't seen it.

...So tonight was an extremely interesting night ... I was supposed to go to church and then go to a small group after, when I invited one of my friends to go with me. reluctantly he said yes and that he would head out on his way. Well lots of time passed even to the point where church was starting. After tons of messages and unanswered calls I found out that immediately after that this friend had fallen asleep. I was greatly discouraged. the one thing I wanted to do today was go to this small group. I have to admit I was also greatly frustrated. But I said to God there is a bigger picture... As this friend was now on his way to meet up with me. When he got to my house he was very much wanting us to attend church and head there even with 5 mins left in the service but I said "there is nothing that we can do at this point lets just go and sit and get something to eat. and so we did we went to Harvey's because both of us had never been there before. We sat and we talked I asked my friend about his life story. I listened and we talked some more until the staff asked us to leave as the store was closing. so we left and headed back to his car. as we were sitting there about to leave I started to ask him about some of the things we were talking about. Then I said lets do listening prayer! so as per usual to listening prayer I asked my friend to to think of a place to meet God, and immediately he came up with a place. I then asked him to to invited God in this place. to my friends great surprise immediately He showed up! I find this so cool because even though this friend doesn't have a relationship with God, Jesus still shows up! and man does He ever show up! I wont exactly go into all the details of the questions and answers Jesus gave but man it was so awesome and cool! At first it was just my friend and God in this place and them talking, when Jesus throws the invite for me to start asking questions. and so I start asking some of the things that are on my heart. the things that Jesus about me and with me said were so greatly encouraging and awesome! one of them was just how much he loved the Trax cart as I was serving him a cup of coffee and encouraged me to keep doing it that despite the times where I think that things aren't happening they are! Jesus was saying stuff like that! it was so cool! and all of this was coming spoken though a person who you wouldn't expect. and whats even more cool is that this person wouldn't possibly be able to know about these things as they are things as they were just between me and God. HAHA Anyways such a radically amazing night! I want to encourage you all tonight and throughout this week to enter into the "secret place" and go have a chat with Jesus! Jesus is very much alive and real, He loves and wants to talk and be in relationship with you! Also please pray for my friend mentioned above!
