Great is thy faithfulness.

Alright guys here because my camera/sd card is having "technical difficulties"  I will be doing a written blog this week. I hope you guys don't mind a little reading.

where to start? hmmm..

In His promises.

Ok well In the middle of October I got a call from Rob Snair who is the director of Lifeteams (Where Lianne is currently) as soon as I answered it I was running situations though my head because Rob isn't one to call my phone directly. after all he is quite busy. Some of the situations were like: maybe Lianne was quitting Lifeteams, or that she was hurt... but I wasn't given much time to think about it. Rob preceded to tell me that one of my lifeteamates from my year had been in a accident and had passed away. "seriously?" that was my reply, like it was a really cruel joke... I talked for a little bit more as my eyes burned with tears.  After the phone call I cried and prayed for like 2 hours straight...

without getting into it too much more... Later on that weekend most of us got together to spend time with each other and had a sudo funeral to celebrate his life, it was good.

Its been so hard, and I will miss him so much as he was family, my brother. but God has and continues to give me faith in His promises and God has also given me such and incredible peace about it! my Brother has received his inheritance from the Father. my brother is with Jesus now where
He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”and no doubt when getting to the kingdom my brother received the words we will all want to hear one day "well done good and faithful servant!"

see you again soon Brother.

 Central United Church
Alright guys I have some incredible awesome news for all of you: If you guys have been checking out my blogs you will know that I have been looking for a home for the Trax cart for a while now...Well guess what guys!? We found one!! Central United Church has provided a place to access during the week so that we can do outreach outside of StreetLight nights! Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in fact starting next week!! How awesome is that! God is so awesome and has certinly blessed this church! Now with that comes the next step of actually going out there and implementing God's vision for this small insignificant cart...The stage is set and ready for breakthrough!

I also want to quickly talk about one of the youth I have been working with. He is been on the streets for two years and who for the last couple of years has been struggling with addictions and heavy depression as a result. but the super awesome thing is that now  he has gotten to a point in his life where he feels like his life needs a change. So much so that he has began to seek out God. He has started to go to church on his own with me, Not only this, but is even been staying at better shelters, hanging with different people and doing different healthy activities!

For a long time I as the rest of the StreetLight team have worked in the life of this young adult, often with results that are all to quickly sort lived.  but It is so good to see God working in his life.

For us we do alot of work in these young people, and it cost us, our time, our thoughts, and our tears among many other things, Sometimes we see fruit from it but alot of the time we won't see any fruit..well at least till the kingdom. but for the moments where we see these young people unsatisfied with a life lived in darkness and begin to try and find the one who can give them true life. then all of that is worth it, every single moment!

I ask you guys to please pray for this youth, he is so close to finding what he is looking for! please pray that the seeds that have been planted would land on fertile ground, and produce a harvest not just 10 times but 100 times what was planted! and that God might become real to him! So that he can experience true life with the Father!

Alright guys I guess thats just a quick update on whats been going on.
I am so glad to be doing what I do right now, you guys make all this possible again as always thank you for all the love, and support you have shown me!

Love radically. Live righteously.

-Galatians 2:20-

What’s next!?

Now that I am done Lifeteams you might be wondering what’s happens now…

Meet the newest staff member of Youth for Christ/ Youth Unlimited!!!!!

Now that I am back in Calgary I am in the process of coming on staff for Youth For Christ/Youth Unlimited. My role would be as follows: Doing the Tracks ministry. In case you are unsure of what that is let me tell you! Tracks involves: taking a mobile cart which has been made (equipped with food, drinks, snacks, water bottles, hats, clothing ect.) and roll it around the downtown core as an outreach to the homeless youth/ homeless people of Calgary. my hope is that though this it would be more then a "food program" but that I can build amazing relationships and people with come to know Christ, all for the glory of God! As well I will be on staff for Streetlight. If you would like to know more about what Streetlight is click here! Streetlight

Each YFC staff each are responsible to find a team of people who are willing to step into the work with them, financially and prayerfully providing what it takes to get the job done. Over the next months I hope to build that team of people who aren’t content just “being” a Christian, but want to practice the radical Love and acceptance that Jesus shows us and instructs us to do; people who are called to be the senders as I go - All for the Glory of God!

I can't start anything just yet, I need to come up with a list of 100 contacts who might be interested in what I am and will be doing, As well as gain a bigger monthly support database Once I am finished gathering 100 people for my support team I am going to be sending support letters, telling the people what I will be doing and how they can partner with me!
